    Wenjing Hong is a full professor and vice dean at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and he is also a professor at the College of Materials and Institute of Artificial Intelligence of Xiamen University. He received his B.Sc. from Xiamen University in 2007, his M.Sc. degree from Tsinghua University in 2009, and his Ph.D. of Science (summa cum laude) from the University of Bern in 2013. After his postdoctoral stay at the University of Bern, he joined Xiamen University as a full professor and group leader in 2015. He also serves as the senior editor of Langmuir@ACS.

    My current research interests are mainly focused on artificial intelligence for science (AI4S), including the fundamental science of single-molecule electronics and the applied science in new materials and energy storage systems. Our lab developed the scientific instrument for single-molecule electronics and corresponding data analysis code XMeCode, which is widely used in more than 50 research labs all over the world, and we constructed the first ultra-precision lab in Asia for the characterization and fabrication of energy materials and devices with the ultimate resolution. We have also connections to the industry including CATL and Sinochem, and participated in the establishment of technology-based start-ups with a focus on scientific instruments and AI4S.

    Wenjing Hong has published papers in peer-reviewed journals such as Nat. Mater. (3), Nat. Chem. (1), Nat. Catal. (1), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (16), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (17), Nat. Commun. /Sci. Adv. (10), Chem /Matter (6), PNAS (1), and 10+ invited reviews in Chem. Soc. Rev., Acc. Chem. Res., Angew. Chem., and Adv. Mater et al. All these papers have been cited for more than 10000 times.


    洪文晶,国家杰青、国际界面科学经典期刊Langmuir副主编(senior editor),国家部委材料领域方向专家组成员,厦门大学化学化工学院、材料学院和人工智能研究院教授、固体表面物理化学国家重点实验室和2011能源材料化学协同创新中心固定研究人员。先后在厦门大学、清华大学和瑞士伯尔尼大学获得本科、硕士和博士学位,现任化学化工学院副院长,高端电子化学品国家工程研究中心重组工作组组长,智慧储能大型科研基础设施筹备工作组组长,嘉庚实验室副主任,厦门大学创新创业博士项目负责人,兼任厦门时代新能源研究院联席执行院长(厦门大学)等。并担任AI Chem. (Elsevier)、Int. J. Extrem. Manuf. (IOP)等国际期刊编委和Natl. Sci. Rev.化学学科编辑组成员。

    主要从事分子科学智能的交叉学科研究。在基础研究领域探索从分子创造智能,开展基于分子器件的感知、存储和计算研究,建立和发展了在国际上已被50多个课题组广泛使用的科学仪器和表征方法,在单分子尺度构筑了量子干涉晶体管和首个能够进行逻辑运算的分子器件,并首次实现了对σ-σ相互作用、酶催化动态过程和分子光电流谱的表征和机理研究;在应用基础研究领域探索以智能创造分子,借助人工智能和机器人技术等深度融合开发人工智能驱动的分子制造系统,并将其应用于半导体、生命健康、新材料和新能源等领域,在该领域建设了我国乃至世界首个聚焦高分子材料无人智能合成、表征和决策的材料科学智能实验室,以及亚洲首座对振动、声学、电磁等干扰充分隔绝、相关指标达国际领先水平的无噪声超精密加工与表征实验室,推动微纳加工精度达到亚三纳米水平,支撑了多项半导体器件关键技术创新。

    先后承担了国家高层次青年人才项目、基金委优秀青年基金、原创探索计划、面上项目和国家杰出青年科学基金等,主持面向材料科学智能的无人智能实验室项目和国家重点研发项目课题等。主持与宁德时代、中化、华为、瓮福等合作的多个千万级校企联合研发中心和联合研发项目。实验室还在厦门大学参与孵化了多家高科技创新企业,如聚焦科学仪器的派瑞未来-微瑞精仪等。先后获Electrochemical Communications Award、教育部高等学校科学研究优秀成果一等奖、中国化学会-英国皇家化学会青年化学奖、中国化学会青年化学奖、霍英东教育基金会青年教师奖和福建青年科技奖等。

    作为通讯或共同通讯作者发表论文一百余篇,包括Nat. Mater. (3篇), Nat. Chem. (1篇), Nat. Catal. (1篇), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (16篇), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (17篇), Nat. Commun. /Sci. Adv. (10篇), Chem /Matter (6篇), PNAS (1篇), 科学通报/中国科学-化学CCS Chemistry /化学快报 (17篇)等,作为独立通讯作者受邀在Acc. Chem. Res.和Adv. Mater.等发表综述,作为主编出版专著《单分子电子学:从测量技术到科学问题》,获邀编写《界面化学百科全书(英文版)》单分子电子学章节,在仪器领域授权发明专利10余项。迄今论文总引用10000余次。
